Lil Luv Dog is the first EWG Verified clean brand for pets, specializing in dry powder shampoos with allergen-free custom fragrances and sustainable packaging. Founded by Cara Santana-Leto and Stephanie Suganami, the brand brings ingredient transparency and wellness-focused formulas to dog grooming.

The Story Behind Lil Luv Dog

Lil Luv Dog was created by pet parents Cara Santana-Leto and Stephanie Suganami out of a simple desire: to find something better for their dogs. They wanted better care, better ingredients, and better impact on the world. Rather than settle for conventional pet products, they imagined pet care made with intention—featuring clean formulas, thoughtful choices, and a lighter footprint. The brand operates with a philosophy centered on loving dogs the way they deserve to be loved. The team, which includes the company's canine executives (Mercer Santana Leto as Chief Wag Officer and Sheppy Santana Leto as Chief Happiness Officer, alongside VP of Fluff Relations Binx Suganami), approaches every product decision with the wellbeing of both dogs and dog parents in mind. This commitment to intentional design and sustainability sets Lil Luv Dog apart in the pet care space.
