Samplesound is a London-based record label specializing in sample packs and production tools for electronic music producers and DJs. The store offers a wide range of genre-specific content, from drill and techno to lo-fi hip hop and soul.

What Samplesound Offers

Samplesound operates as both a record label and retailer, hosting sample packs across dozens of genres and music styles. The catalog includes ready-to-use loops, one-shot samples, construction kits, and drum packs. Beyond samples, the store also carries software presets for production tools. Each pack is labeled as royalty-free, meaning you can use the sounds in your own productions without licensing concerns. The brand manages several subsidiary labels in addition to its main Samplesound imprint, expanding the variety of sound design approaches available.

Genre Coverage and Product Examples

The store organizes content by music style, ranging from underground dance genres like Drum & Bass, Tech House, and Melodic House & Techno, to contemporary styles such as Amapiano, Phonk, and Reggaeton. Popular sample packs on the platform include 'Drill Atmospheres' (EUR 20.00), designed for cinematic texture work, 'Heart & Soul' (EUR 24.00) for neo-soul and R&B production, and 'Underground Percussion Essentials' (EUR 17.00) for organic rhythm work. Software presets are also available, such as the 'Voltage - Jun-6 V Melodic Techno Presets' (EUR 33.00) and 'Acid V Techno Presets' (EUR 18.00), bridging the gap between sample packs and synthesizer tools.

Pricing and Value Positioning

Individual sample packs and presets range from EUR 13 to EUR 43, positioning Samplesound in the mid-range segment for production content. Bundles and collection options are available, allowing producers to purchase multiple packs together. The pricing reflects professional-grade sample quality while remaining accessible to emerging producers. Packs like 'After Dark - Heavy Atmosphere' (EUR 16.00) offer entry-level pricing for atmospheric content, while premium presets command higher investment for specialized synthesis tools.

Before You Order

All samples are marketed as royalty-free and ready to use in your own productions. Check the product description of any pack before purchasing to confirm it suits your DAW and production style. The store uses EUR pricing, so be aware of any currency conversion if you are ordering from outside the Eurozone. Clear the pack genre, sound characteristics, and file format to ensure compatibility with your workflow. If you need bulk content, explore bundle options to understand whether purchasing multiple packs together offers better value than individual purchases.
