SelectBlinds' Two Decades of Window Solutions

SelectBlinds launched in 2003 when the founder searched for blackout shades that actually fit his daughter's bedroom window and decided to build the solution himself. What started as a one-person operation has evolved into a team of over 100 employees, each handling custom orders with the same care as the original mission. The company has earned recognition from major media outlets and industry rankings: its products have appeared on HGTV's Married to Real Estate and ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the brand was named among Newsweek's Best Online Shops in both 2020 and 2022, and made the Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing private companies. SelectBlinds' Classic Cordless Blackout Shades received particular acclaim when The New York Times' Wirecutter named them "The Best Blackout Shades" in 2021. This track record reflects the company's commitment to combining custom manufacturing with quality assurance across its product range.

What SelectBlinds Sells: Styles and Customization

The store offers custom blinds, shades, shutters and curtains designed to match your exact window dimensions. Product categories include cordless options, No Drill styles that require no installation, light-filtering varieties for soft natural light, and blackout styles for complete room darkening. Whether you're furnishing a single bedroom or an entire home, SelectBlinds manufactures each product to your specifications rather than offering only standard sizes. This made-to-measure approach means your window treatments fit precisely, eliminating the guesswork and awkward gaps that come with off-the-shelf solutions. The customization extends across multiple shade and blind types, so you can match your décor preferences and functional needs without compromise. Samples are available if you want to see materials and colors in person before placing a full order.
