Strapsicle makes one-handed Kindle holders and wrist straps designed to prevent dropped devices and reduce hand strain. The Australian brand has expanded to support Kobos and iPads, with prices ranging from mid-range to premium.

How Strapsicle Started

Strapsicle was born from a practical need. After accidentally dropping her Kindle on her newborn son during late-night nursing sessions, the founder's partner Ben created a crude strap from a silicone mat and staples. That prototype solved the problem so well that it became the foundation for a business now helping hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide. The company gained significant recognition after appearing on Shark Tank and has built a loyal community of customers, many of whom report relief from mobility issues like carpal tunnel, arthritis, and cerebral palsy. What started as a simple Australian idea has grown into a global phenomenon in just three years, though the core mission remains unchanged: making reading more comfortable and secure for everyone.

What Strapsicle Actually Sells

Strapsicle's main focus is Kindle holders and wrist straps, available in multiple designs to suit different preferences and needs. Beyond Kindles, the brand has expanded its range to include holders for Kobo devices and iPad cases for those who read on tablets. The product lineup also features a clutch option for portable carrying, wrist-mounted styles for hands-free reading, bundles that combine multiple items, and even a subscription service for regular users. Additionally, Strapsicle offers shipping protection through their Upcart service for customers concerned about delivery damage. Each product category comes in several variations, giving shoppers options based on their specific device, lifestyle, and reading habits. Whether you're looking for a simple strap or a complete reading accessory solution, the range covers entry-level basics through more premium options.
