What Shimmering Canvases Stocks

Shimmering Canvases opened in August 2020 and has grown into a focused supplier for diamond painting hobbyists. The store carries well over 200 colors of square AB drills and over 150 round AB colors, giving crafters substantial variety for their projects. In April 2021, the store created the first square crystal drill, marking an early entry into that product category. The selection extends to glow-in-the-dark drills, handturned diamond painting pens (added in 2022), cover minders, completed diamond paintings, and related accessories. Founded by Dawn Herman, a diamond painting enthusiast since 2018, the store reflects a creator's understanding of what the hobby community needs. The product range has expanded significantly from the store's initial launch with just 11 square AB colors, showing how the business has responded to customer demand.

Diamond Painting Drills and Custom Tools

The core appeal of Shimmering Canvases lies in its drill selection. Square AB drills remain a popular choice, and the store's 200-plus color inventory means most project palettes can be matched. Round AB drills, with over 150 colors available, serve crafters who prefer the rounded shape aesthetic. The crystal drills represent the store's innovation in the category, offering a different visual finish than traditional AB drills. Glow-in-the-dark drills add novelty for themed or functional projects. Beyond drills, the handturned diamond painting pens distinguish the store—these are custom tools designed specifically for diamond application, not generic alternatives. The store also stocks cover minders to protect work in progress and sells pre-completed diamond paintings for those interested in finished pieces rather than DIY projects. This breadth means repeat customers can source nearly everything needed for a project from one vendor.
